Maitland Urban Portraits
Maitland is looking great these days, The Levee precinct has really lifted the image of our booming city. These portraits taken around the urban centre of Maitland are something a little different to my usual big trees and country paddocks. But I loved using my local streets as a backdrop to some cool family portraits.
I have photographed this family a few times before and have know Andy since we were kids. After their gorgeous wedding portraits, then Newborn photos and a fun One Year old session it was time for some relaxed family shots.
We met at the Town Hall end of Maitland and headed out on to the riverbank. Miss 3 had just woken up so it took her a little while to warm to the world and me, but she soon got her sweet cheeky nature out in full force. Such a little character, it was a crack up hanging out with her!
The riverbank was lush and green – great for running down and sitting amongst the long grass! Then we explored the murals and alley walls a bit further down High st.
It was really great catching up with this lovely family. Can’t wait to do it all again in a few years!
