Bright and Fun Family
I photographed this bright and fun Family at Morpeth a few months ago.
Ray Lawler Reserve is always a beautiful location for a family photo session, set on the edges of the charming town of Morpeth. It offers big open spaces, huge trees and is perfect for a family outing (and family photo shoot). The fig trees are amazing, the row of poplars is a big draw card plus there are ducks!
I met this family on what turned out to be a gorgeous afternoon, but which started as a day of dark skies and rain! We almost cancelled but I’m so glad we ignored the forecast and still met up. I arrived and the sun was shining, then was met with these smiles and excited faces. I was so happy to capture some fun memories for them all.
There is lots of room at Morpeth to spread out and take photos without feeling cramped. We walk out to the back area and I made them skip and spin through the afternoon light. The trees filter the light of an afternoon which crates a gorgeous glow and warm atmosphere. These cheeky sisters brought the fun! It was great to photograph the banter and giggles between them.

A week after the session they all cam into the studio to decide what to get printed for their home. They are currently building a new house so supper excited to have some fresh framed photographs for their new walls! Check the frames they chose below. A set of three for the lounge room, a collage print for the girls lounge room and a sweet sisters portrait for a bedroom. I’m so happy with how they turned out, and there we very big smiles when they were picked up!
