Visit Maitland Regional Art Gallery

For the last few years I have been photographing events and workshops and products for the amazing Maitland Regional Art Gallery (MRAG). It is fabulous photographing in such a beautiful space, and with such inspiring people.

I thought I would be nice to share some of the work and show you why I love the gallery so much. MRAG is an important cultural institution for the Hunter Valley area. It showcases the work of local, national, and international artists in a diverse range of works across a wide variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, photography. A visit to MRAG is always a unique and enriching experience for people of all ages.

The gallery offers educational programs and workshops, artist talks and interactive experiences for anyone to learn about and engage with the world of art. It’s wonderful seeing children and adults interact with the art, and be inspired and by the artists and art tutors in the gallery space. I love that it serves as a gathering place for members of the community too. It is bringing people together to enjoy exhibitions, events, and educational programs.

The gallery shop and cafe on site are a little bonus too. There are lots of gorgeous products in the gallery store to explore from makers near and far. And yummy food after a wander in the gallery is just what you need!

Whether you’re an avid art lover or just looking for an interesting and educational day out, a visit to Maitland Regional Art Gallery is a real treat.
