Surprise Proposal Morpeth
Every now and then, I get to be part of something so magical it feels like a scene straight out of a movie. That’s exactly how it felt during this recent proposal under the shade of a beautiful fig tree. With secret plans, hidden rings, and a whole lot of love, it was a moment I’ll never forget.
The proposal was planned to perfection, H was so careful and prepared leading up to the day. There were many calls and emails to get everything just right. It was decided that Morpeth would suit best, right out the back of the Common under a fig tree ‘the spot’
The ring was cleverly hidden in a shoe and we had a secret signal for when the moment was going to happen. We chatted and photographed in the avenue of trees, then as we approached the huge fig tree, I got a quick nod.
I stepped back to capture the moment as it unfolded. When he got down on one knee, her expression was priceless – a mix of shock, joy, and pure love. So special to watch it unfold xx
The laughter and tears said it all. Of course, she said yes! Both their smiles were radiant as the sunlight filtering through the trees. The connection between them was palpable, and being there to document such a heartfelt moment felt like an incredible honour.
After the big “yes,” we spent some time capturing their post-proposal glow. The trees at Morpeth provided a stunning backdrop for photos filled with laughter, tender moments, and a whole lot of love. They couldn’t stop smiling – and honestly, neither could I.
