Mt Sugarloaf Family Portraits

This Mt Sugarloaf family portraits session was a quick one. I met the family at the lookout on a cool day in early spring. The day had been bright but by the time I drove to the top of the lookout there were big storm clouds brewing. I didn’t expect that at all! (Maybe should have checked the forecast :D)

We all braved it anyway and headed for a wander down one of the dirt tracks. Soft wind and hand holding with a sweet toddler was just lovely. This little fella was quite shy but that cute curly head of hair and quirky grin was all we needed to capture his personality. Tickles from Dad worked a treat to coax the smilies out too.

The rain did eventually cut the session short and we had to promptly head back to the cars! A quick rain shower and toddler runs in the car park ended the session on a fun note.

Mt Sugarloaf reserve is a beautiful unique bushland location that I had never used for a shoot before, but would love to go up there again. Lots of great gums trees, and mossy rocks plus dirt tracks and fallen logs. There are quite a few walking trails from the top that are fun to explore too! Get in touch HERE if you would like to go exploring for you family session.
