Maitland Maternity and Newborn photographer

Photographing these milestones in people’s lives is so special! I know that is such a cliche but it is totally true. Being a Maitland maternity and newborn photographer I get to see all these major life moments. And I am so happy to preserve them so we can look back and remember the big changes in your lives.

I first met these two a couple of years ago after they bought their first house and received a portrait session voucher from PRD Hunter Valley. I photographed them at Paterson Park and they were beautiful and happy and in-love subjects. This time I got a call to say they were expecting a baby in a few weeks and could I fit them in for some pregnancy shots. Of course I jumped at the chance to photograph these beauties again and we locked in a date. A few days later we met and walked to the big trees around the Common at Morpeth. At 38 weeks pregnant, Pauletta was just glowing (and she didn’t know it but only a day off meeting her new daughter).

Two weeks later I visited their home to meet sweet baby E. What an angel she was, alert and interested then sleepy and snuggly. A dream newborn to photograph. I love the beautiful moments of mum and dad cuddling with their precious girl. So tender, and what those first weeks of baby’s life are all about! Just gazing and taking in the wonder that is a new baby.
