Fun at Redhead Beach

Some family sessions are calm and composed, and others are a whirlwind of energy and laughter—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a fun-filled family session at the gorgeous Redhead Beach. With two energetic boys and their loving parents, this session was all about embracing the beauty in chaos.

From the moment we started, it was clear these boys weren’t about to stand still and smile for the camera. And honestly, that’s what made the session so special. Instead of posing, we leaned into the running, jumping, and playing—letting their boundless energy lead the way. Whether they were racing along the shoreline, splashing in the waves, or leaping off sand dunes, every moment was also a competition haha.

The parents laughed along with their boys, and joined in on the fun. They didn’t mind getting in on the action too! Their connection and patience were heartwarming, and it was a reminder of how much beauty there is in simply letting kids be kids.
