It’s always such a pleasure welcoming past clients back for more portraits. This family returned to capture a new chapter in their family story, this time choosing a more formal and traditional style that created a truly timeless result.
From the moment they arrived, their wardrobe choices set the tone. They stepped into the studio looking so glamorous and ready for fine dining haha. Photographing them together was easy, they have such a lovely relationship and their interactions so sincere.
Alongside the elegant formal dress, they also brought a change of clothes. This time into some stunning traditional clothing. This brought colour, texture, and meaning to the session. I absolutely loved that they chose to honour their culture in this way, making them not only gorgeous but deeply personal too!
The studio provided the perfect neutral backdrop, allowing the focus to remain entirely on the family and their connection. Miss tween daughter brought so much personality to the session too, keeping everyone laughing as she playfully teased her dad between shots. The light-hearted moments helped everyone relax and reminded us that even the most formal portraits can still reflect the real connection and joy within a family.
