Family Time Under the Bridge – Morpeth Magic
Before the grown kids pack up and head interstate for their next adventure, this family made time to capture something really special—just the four of them together.
We met under the Morpeth bridge, with plenty of laughs, awkward sibling hugs and lots of green grass after weeks of rain.
This family session was full of fun and cheeky smiles. Grown doesn’t mean grown-up all the time—and I loved seeing the kids (okay, adults!) relax into old family rhythms: walking together, playful teasing, big belly laughs. The kind of natural joy that only shows up when you’re with your people.
The iconic Morpeth bridge gave us that perfect mix of structure and open space. Morpeth is a great place to explore and eat with the family too! We had soft (about to rain) light, a big green stretch along the riverbank, and a feeling that this time—this moment—is worth holding onto.
Their story is about to spread out across states, but for this day, they were here. Together. Moments like these remind me why photography matters so much. A pause before the next chapter. A visual hug for the future.
Thinking about your own family time before big changes? Let’s celebrate it. You don’t need a reason—just the people you love and a little sunlight.

After the session, this family chose a large framed set to hang at home—a visual hug for the living room wall. Because photos aren’t just for now—they’re for the days you miss each other most. I have plenty of custom options to frame your photos, or if your more into canvas or albums I have those too.
