Cozy Sibling Session at Home
When life gives you a rainstorm, you roll with it—and sometimes, that means literally rolling around on the bed! Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a sibling session at home, and while the weather outside was gloomy, the energy inside was anything but.
The original plan had been to explore the local park, but as the rain came pouring down just minutes before, we pivoted to an indoor session. And honestly? It couldn’t have been more perfect. There’s something so genuine about capturing kids in their own space, where they’re most comfortable.
The playroom quickly became the heart of the session. There was giggles and a lot of cheeky grins while the rain tapped against the windows. After some time in the playroom, we moved to the parents’ bed—a perfect spot for snuggles, tickles, and more giggles.
The kids tumbled around, taking turns being the centre of attention. Mum tickled from the side and these candid moments were my favorite to capture. It’s in the shared laughter and those fleeting, genuine smiles that the magic happens!
Even on the stormiest days, the love and joy within a family can light up any room. To this wonderful family, thank you for inviting me into your home and trusting me to capture your beautiful chaos. Rain or shine, your love was the real star of the show.
