Two Brides Calvin Estate

What a super fun Calvin Estate wedding ceremony, two brides and so much love. On a warm November day these two ladies declared their commitment to each other in the sunshine. All of the guests were beaming from ear to ear to watch these two finally tie the knot.

Viv and Nicky’s wanted me to ‘just capture the fun day’ and it certainly was a fun day! They are cheeky characters and are surrounded by so many people who love them and love hanging out with them. It was a blast capturing all that energy!

There was plenty of touching moments and small person touches that made the day so special. Viv’s suit was made for her by her Mum, the splashes of purple her favourite colour which was used through out the day. From the bridesmaids dresses to the cake and the flowers, purple was a definite theme.

Following drinks and family photos in the Calvin Estate bar we drove into Morpeth for some pics with the bridal party (and their mums). I loved that the mums were included in the bridal party fun, so special for them to be there with their girls. It was a quite a hot afternoon but the breeze off the river at Morpeth was pleasant surprise. We finished up there then travelled back to East Maitland Bowling club for their Reception.

There was many beautiful speeches! So many people had such heartwarming things to say about these two brides. It was really lovely being there to witness such love xxx
