Newcastle Extended Family
I have been photographing so many families lately! It is always special though. These lovely people traveled from all around Australia to celebrate a birthday together. I’m sure it is not often they are actually all in the same place, so it was wonderful to be ably to photograph them while they were together.
It was definitely a challenge trying to get all the individual families with only limited time. Usually I have time to interact with the children to prep them for being in front of the camera. But with so many people I didn’t get that luxury for this session. Some of the children were a quite shy but with cousins a plenty to help out (standing behind me poking their tongues out and being generally crazy) it all turn out great! And the proud grandparents got some beautiful framed photographs to update their walls at home.
