Wandin Wedding – Kaitlin + Jake
Kaitlyn and Jake’s wedding at Wandin Estate was a day to remember — not just for the gorgeous details, but for the laughter, family fun, and the way all kinds of weather that rolled through the Hunter Valley that day!
With a big, lively wedding party by their sides, there was never a dull moment. The girls looked stunning, the boys were full of cheeky energy, and together they set the tone for a day of celebration.
The ceremony was held in the iconic barrel room at the top of the property— rustic, warm, and a lovely backdrop for their heartfelt vows. Also had local legend Paul Lobb officiating! As they exited the ceremony their guest lined up to shower them in a joyful petal toss. And it looked amazing as the sun shined on the hills!
From there, the festivities unfolded with an amazing champagne tower and had everyone cheering for their sample. Then wedding party portraits happened while the guest moved down to the Cricket Pitch and Pavilion for canapés. Beautiful florals by Boxes, Blooms & gifts really added to the gorgeous wedding party styling!
A huge storm threatened so we headed for cover and joined the guests. The wedding party + Bride and Groom made their fun entrance then once the sun came back out we headed outside for fun on the cricket pitch. The later warm glow after the quick storm so so lovely! Some of my favourite shot there.Then a game of cricket brought plenty of laughs (and a few big swings from the bridal party!).
The evening continued with heartfelt speeches that had the room alternating between happy tears and roaring laughter — a true testament to the love and joy surrounding this couple.
After speeches, guests lined up outside with sparklers in hand, creating a magical tunnel of light for Kaitlyn and Jake’s sparkler exit — then spent the night on the dance floor! What a day packed with energy, emotion, and fun.
It was a wonderful celebration that embraced all the moments, every kind of weather, and every person who came together to make it so special. Congratulations, Kaitlin + Jake — what an incredible day!
