Hunter Valley Holiday Portraits

This session was for a wonderful family from Singapore. They wanted some portraits while on holiday here in the Hunter Valley.

On their whirlwind trip to Australia they travelled to multiple locations around the country. Their Hunter Valley stay included horse riding, a visit to the Zoo plus wine tasting of course and exploring the countryside. They were astounded at how big Australia was, coming from such a small country! Their drive from Newcastle airport to the Hunter Valley was about as far as from one side of Singapore to the other.

I met them and was able to capture the preparations of their ride with Hunter Valley Horse-riding & Adventures. It was a cool afternoon and the ride began straight into the mud! After they finished with the horses we explored the bushland close by at Hunter Resort.

We chatted about our homes and got to know each other while walking along the dirt track. The sister giggles were infectious and I loved photographing their interactions together with their parents.They were so excited seeing all the kangaroos come out to graze in the paddock next to where we were. And also having the horse close by.

It was great to be a part of their Australian adventure!
