Bump to baby portraits
There’s something magical about documenting the journey from bump to baby, and this recent session was no exception. It started with a stunning maternity shoot in the breathtaking Glenrock bushland and ended a few weeks later with a cozy in-home session meeting the sweetest new addition—a baby girl with big eyes and a head full of hair.
The bushland just near the Burwood Road carpark provided a great backdrop. Surrounded by lush greenery and soft natural light sparkling through the trees we did a very short hike down to the creek bed. Here I captured this glowing mama, she had multiple outfits which added variety and softness to the session. A flowing dress to more casual looks, each change brought a different vibe, making the photos feel dynamic and personal.
Fast forward a few weeks, and I had the joy of meeting their beautiful baby girl at home. She was an absolute dream to photograph— loved her sleepy squishy squirms and her thick, dark hair. There’s something so heartwarming about those early days, and it was clear this little one had already brought so much love into their lives.
The session was a mix of cuddles, quiet moments. And when they opened, her big curious eyes were so gorgeous. We even got a couple of tiny smiles. It was such a privilege to capture some precious moments for this new family of three.
